When doing a SBR, does each bomber that Survives Air Combat roll independent of each other or as one. Example: If I have 4 bombers survive, do I roll 16 dice and assign damage? Or do I roll 4 dice and assign damage, roll 4 dice and assign damage, et, etc.

Correct. Admittedly weird, but there ya go. 30 Dice limit for air, bombing, and surface.
If capped at 30, how does that roll out? 4-4-4-4-4-4-4-2 ? So last bomber only gets half it's roll?
4 dice at a time. Still Capped at 30 is a new clarification in 2nd ed.
